You, don’t forget You, yourself. Being kind to yourself is a lifeline. Treat yourself as well as you would your best friend or spouse or child. You deserve it. You need it in order to care for anyone else. If you don’t take care of yourself, you will run out of steam and burn out or get ill. It’s also a good way to try ideas out. If you get a warm fuzzy feeling or a smile on your face after doing something kind for yourself, then you know it will do the same for someone else. So basic but so true.
