When I was very young and couldn’t behave, my grandmother used to always tell me about the little girl with the curl right in the middle of her forehead, and when she was good, she was very, very, good, and when she was bad, she was horrid.
I have been reminded of this all month as the new puppy (Tyke), goes from one trouble to the next looking for things to get into. It is like she has not integrated all her different selves into one yet. Fourteen faces of Eve. I think I mentioned her piranha bouts. I have decided she has another alter ego that is mean and ornery, and have named that puppy Cruella De Vil from 101 Dalmations. Did you know they came up with that characters name from tossing around “cruel (cruella) devil (de vil)? Perfect, don’t you think?
Thank goodness there is the sleeping angel side as well, with her little tongue hanging out. Makes my heart melt.

My Mum used to say that rhyme to me when I was little Lindalh~ boy, did it make me even madder than I already was!!! Sleeping puppies are adorable ~ when they’re awake, not so much!!! And yes, I did know about The origin of Cruella’s name, thanks for reminding me 🙂
