What’s happening on Mist Mountain? A Walk Around in April, a very unpredictable month.
Peas are weird. If all the conditions are just right, they are easy to grow and grow fast. If they aren’t, you end up planting and replanting and planting again.
This year I decided to try planting them on the deck in my hydroponic pipes that have been sitting idle for awhile. I am not sure what I am going to do with them when they get bigger, but they have begun to sprout and grow. Yippee. It would be cool if they would build enough root system to hold themselves in place and they could just hang right there.
And then, of course, there is puppy. She has pretty much consumed all of our time for the past two months. She now supervises all that goes on on Mist Mountain. Unfortunately she has decided that the rain house and the round garden are fantastic places to romp. It does, however, force me to think outside the box in where I begin to plant till I can decide on a solution. The question being do I fence her in or fence the garden.

She is cute!
