It might not have been pretty, but I did it. The first month of the year long blogging is completed with this post. I really didn’t think I would get this far. Some days have been easy and some days have truly been a struggle. Sounds like life in general.
What did I get out of it?
- New bloggers to follow with some great reads
- More work on focusing
- More work on self discipline
- A great sense of accomplishment (31 days is a long time when you have trouble finishing projects – and I have a very tall pile of half finished quilts to prove it)
Was it worth it?
Hell, yeah! Thanks Joss for throwing down the gauntlet.
I still don’t know if I can make it the entire year, who knows where life will lead, but I actually have a little more confidence in the possibility.
Oh, and as a gift to myself, I bought the coolest little orifice hook for my spinning wheel from Marcy Bell Jewelry Design . She went to school with my kids back in the days and now designs and fabricates awesome jewelry and just about anything else you can ask her create. She will even stamp it for you. Mine says – ; Celebrate. So, so cool.
