And more lists

As I have said before, I love lists.  While scanning FB for family news, I came across this gem:

“Make a list of things that make you happy.

Make a list of things you do every day.

Compare the lists.

Adjust accordingly.”

I try to remember this attitude in my daily life and appreciate seeing it written down.  I think I will copy this list, use it in some artwork,  post it right in front of my face, and  try to revisit it once a week so I don’t forget my good intentions.  Maybe I can cook up my good intentions into good deeds.

Making lists of things that make me happy should, in turn, make me smile while even thinking about it.  That right there is enough reason to do it, wouldn’t you say?

  1. So you scan FB for family news too? More often than not that’s the way I find out what my grown~up kids are getting up to! Since I retired I’m not a fan of anything as structured as making lists but I do like the idea of comparing what makes me happy with how I actually spend my time, so I may use that tip if I feel dissatisfied at any time. Your artwork is lovely ~ such a vibrant mix of colours is uplifting! 🙂

    1. Yes, that is the reason I am on FB at all. I kept bugging kids and grandkids for pics and more info. They said if I wanted to know what was going on to join FB because that is where they put everything. With online albums they don’t have to print and mail them so I have a greater chance of getting them if I cut and paste and print my self.
I am just the opposite, Jacqueline, since I have retired I seem to have to make lists and more lists. However, they are not structured by any means; sometimes the items they contain are so off the wall and/or abbreviated I can’t even decipher them. Thanks for visiting.
